October 30—Fall Festival: We are going to have so many family fun activities for our church family and the community to enjoy and we are going to need about 80 volunteers to pull this off. A Sign Up Genius was emailed, CLICK HERE for an opportunity to help, OR Here is another way you can help:  We are expecting a large turn out and will need lots of candy and small treats to help supply our "trunk or treat" portion of the Fall Fest! If you would like to donate candy or treats, please place them in the large bin in the foyer! Thank you in advance for all the ways you support our efforts to be a light in our community!

Sprout (Infant/prek)

Our Toddler and Preschool Classes are learning about putting God first through stories from the Old Testament! In Sunday School both classes are learning about the idea that we are sheep and God is our shepherd through Psalm 23! We are excited about having Worship and Snack Time back in both classes as well! If you have any questions or concerns about your little ones or their class, please feel free to reach out to Ashley Cox.

ANTIOCH KIDS (K-5th Grade)

We are going to be studying in the book of Deuteronomy beginning in September and will be focusing on idolatry. Throughout the month we will talk about how sin leads us away from God, but Jesus leads us back to God! We have a new parent resource wall in Recharged that you should check out as well!

Our Sunday School classes are still diving into the Old Testament and learning about the importance of knowing God's word, studying God's word, and obeying God's word!

On Wednesday evenings we are continuing to focus on OTHERS with our Acts of Service series! So far, we have baked for our fireman, and mailed out 49 pieces of artwork as encouragement to those on our prayer list! We have also served those in our church by cleaning out the church vans!

For September, our Wednesday nights will look like this:

9/14: picking up trash at a local park

9/28: creating art to send to soldiers on our church list

I hope you will encourage your kids to be a part of these service projects with us, but also encourage them to serve others no matter where they are!
