April 5—Easter Services: On Easter Sunday, in addition to our usual worship services at 8:15 and 10:30, we will have a Sonrise Service at 7:00 followed by a continental breakfast in the fellowship hall. If you will be attending the Sonrise service, we ask that you bring your own chair; however, some will be available if you don't.
“30 Pieces of Silver” Offering: We want to encourage as many as will to participate in the 30 Pieces of Silver offering for Easter. Judas received 30 pieces of silver to betray Jesus. Our offering will be used to GLORIFY GOD! This offering, collected on Easter Sunday, will be used to further the work of The Children’s Haven. The mission of The Children’s Haven, located here in Cherokee County, is to promote the health and happiness of children impacted by abuse. This group is committed to building successful children through programs that increase their safety and improve their educational, social and emotional functioning. More information about this organization can be found at cherokeechildrenshaven.org.
