The Antioch Women's Ministry team meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Our mission is to be the hands and feet of Jesus by ministering to and serving not only our congregation but also our community and beyond. This ministry is open to any women who would like to help!
Throughout the years, these are some (but not all) of the ways we have served:
- Collecting items for the Senior Center in Canton
- Collecting items for Children's Haven
- Volunteering at Children's Haven
- Collecting food/supplies for Homeless Vets
- Hosting coat drives for Homeless Vets
- Collecting School Supplies for Christian City and Children's Haven
- Serving at Christian City
- Hosting a Fathers' Day Breakfast
- Hosting Bridal and Baby shower
- Preparing Care Packages for our College Students
- Collecting items for SOAR Angel Bags for missions in Mexico
- Coordinating a ladies' Christmas Banquet
- Serving at funeral meals
- Serving at Heritage Day (yearly church wide meal)
- Planning and coordinating a Women's Conference for our ladies and the community
- Volunteering with Operation Christmas Child
- Volunteering for clean up days for church and week day preschool
- Send cards of encouragement to those serving in the military
- Send cards of encouragement to our shut ins
- Provide a church wide free Christmas Card delivery (in house)
- Provide Bibles for those who need one
