Upcoming Church Events

News concerning regular gatherings that have paused for the summer:

  • Men's Bible Study resumes August 4th. They will meet on Tuesdays at 9:00 AM to study the book of Ezekiel.
  • Wednesday Nights (meals and classes) resume August 12th. (Now is a great time to consider joining a cook team or starting your own. Teams typically cook four times each school year. This is a great way to serve! If you're interested, please call our church office.)
  • Antioch Seniors outings will continue in September. This group gets together on the third Thursday of each month (usually for lunch). Mark your calendars so that you can begin to join them!

Vacation Bible School, July 12-15: Join us each evening from 5:30 to 8:30 as we journey through Psalm 23! Register on our homepage.

The Right Weigh...God’s Way, July 13: This is a free women's fitness class/Bible Study. While we've paused our weekly workouts for the summer, we're hosting a Summer Pop-Up class at 6:00 PM!

Men's Breakfast, July 18: Beginning at 9:00 AM, enjoy great food, even greater fellowship, and an encouraging devotion in our Fellowship Hall. (They meet on the third Saturday of every month.)

Mom’s Bible Study, July 22: This is part of the MomCo (short for "Mom Community and formerly known as MOPS) organization! Motherhood isn't meant to be done alone, so we meet with the purposes of encouraging and pointing one another to Christ. We'll meet from 9:30 to 11:00 AM in the Fellowship Hall. Each meeting includes video teaching, discussion questions, and a short activity. Childcare is available. Feel free to invite a friend or neighbor to join you! Please RSVP with Joy Turner at (678) 617-2028 if you are able to attend.

Tender Loving Care Family Ministry, July 26th: According to Caregiving in the US 2025 report by AARP and the National Alliance for Caregiving, approximately 63 million Americans are now family caregivers – that's nearly 1 in 4 adults. Were you aware that Antioch has a support group for caregivers? You don’t have to be in crisis to deserve support. The best time to build your support system is while you still have the energy and time to use it. The TLC Family Ministry meets on the last Saturday of the month from 9:30-10:30am in room 104 (behind the organ). Anyone serving in a caregiver capacity (or anticipating doing so) is welcome to attend for encouragement and fellowship with other Antioch caregivers. For more information, contact either Kari Cowart (karicowart3@att.net /770-653-0286) or Linda King (klinda49@gmail.com / 770-861-6115). We look forward to seeing you soon!

College Camp @ NGCC, July 31-August 4: If you're 18-25 years old, we'd love for you to join us at North Georgia Christian Camp! Register at www.christiancamp.net.

Heritage Day, August 9: Join us as we celebrate both what we've witnessed God do and how we anticipate witnessing him continue to move! Following the 10:30 service, we'd love to see you in the Fellowship Hall for a pot-luck lunch!
