June 27—Antioch Seniors

 Join us for lunch at Longhorn’s, 900 Mansell Rd, Roswell at 11:30. Please sign up in the foyer and indicate if you will be riding the bus or meeting us there. If you will be riding the bus, we will be leaving from the church at 10:45.


Our Women’s Ministry is partnering with the family of a little boy in the Hickory Flat area who is trying to collect 2,500 pairs of new and gently used shoes. This family is working with Funds2orgs to turn shoes into money for a Diabetic Alert Dog. Shoes will be collected over the next several weeks and can be placed in the bins in the foyer.

 June 30—Baby Shower for Chris and Hannah Hyde

All ladies are invited to celebrate Chris and Hannah’s baby girl at 2:00 in our fellowship hall. They have registered at Amazon and Buy Buy Baby.

The Men’s Fraternity would like to invite all guys to a 9-hole golf outing on Wednesday evenings. These outings will begin at 6:00 at Bradshaw Farms and will be $25/person each time. Or, you may choose to sign up for the Player’s Club by contacting the pro-shop at Bradshaw Farms. This program costs $30/month and can be cancelled at any time. If enrolled in the Player’s Club, these outings will be a $16 cart fee each time. Please sign up in the foyer if you are interested in joining this group.


Nursery Workers Needed

We are in need of some friendly faces to help out in our Pre-K nursery. This is for all services (8:15, 9:30 & 10:30). Lessons and crafts are provided each week. You don’t have to be a professional teacher to volunteer! The lessons are easy! Contact Amber Smith if you’re interested in volunteering! 



 Looking for Bible Study this summer with “No Homework”? We will be doing two studies. The first is “Overcomer” Living a life of unmovable faith and how to overcome spiritual attack such as worry, fear and anxiety.


Our second study is “MORE Than Words” –discover how the BIBLE is the key to everything. The answer to life’s problems, the words of eternal life, the secret to miracles, and a love letter from God to you. This group meets on Friday mornings at 9:30 in our fellowship hall and is welcome to all ladies who might want to attend.

SonFunDay Summer Calendar


June 23  —Toy Story 4/Golf (If it Rains, just movie): We will be traveling to Area 51 in Roswell. Cost for this event is $20 per child or $30 per family. 12-6pm


June 30—Bus Wash (Rain - Favorite Games): Kids will gather at 1:30 to help clean one or more of the church vehicles near the Forge. There is no cost for this event.


July 14—Airborne Trampoline Activity: Cost for this event is $15 per child or $25 per family. Plan to leave the church by 1:30.


July 21—Bus Wash (Makeup) or Favorite Games: There will be some brand new games for kids. Meet in the fellowship hall at 1:30. There is no cost for this event.


Midweek Summer Calendar


June 19—Out of the Box: Meet at the church at 9:30. We will be going to Out of the Box Studio and painting masterpieces. Cost for this event is $15/child or $30/family. Kids need to wear clothes that can get dirty. We will return to church by 12:30.


June 26—Swim Day: Leaving the church at 9:30 to go swimming at the Chamberlain’s neighborhood pool. Wear a swimsuit and pack a towel. Snacks will be served, and we will return to church by 12:15.


July 17—Secret Life of Pets: Leaving the church at 9:15 to travel to the Towne Lake theater for their Summer Movie Series. We will return to church by 12:45.


Adults are necessary to keep our kids safe on all of these outings. If you are interested in volunteering, please reach out to Mr. Bruce (bruce@antiochcanton.org).

Other Announcements

We want to remind you that our leadership team has a special gift for each of our families. We have secured access to RightNow Media, a Netflix-like database of Bible lessons, Christian children's videos, and more! This service is free to Antioch members and families. It can also be given to members of your extended family and your friends and neighbors as well. 

Church members who wish to explore the RightNow library may log-in as a guest using the email address RightNow@antiochcanton.org. The password is "guestguest". You can also check out the library by searching for "RightNow Media" in the App Store. If you like what you see, simply let us know by emailing the church (antiochchristian@gmail.com), and we will send you over a link so that you may create a more personalized account.  

We have a new section on our website to tell you about. This has been added to cut down on the number of emails sent out about things to be given away or sold by our members. Items will be listed here (at the bottom of the “Members” section of our website). Listings will be posted for 2 weeks and then removed. If you have something to give away/sell, please email your request to the church office (antiochchristian@gmail.com), and be sure to include an email address where you can be contacted. Check it out from time to time and see if you can find any treasures!

Nursery Volunteers Needed

We need volunteers for our Wednesday night nursery (6:30-7:30) and for our Sunday School nursery (9:30-10:30).

If you would like to be put on the rotation, please call or e-mail the church office.

Overseas Military Addresses Needed

If you know a loved one in the military (currently deployed), please e-mail the church office their address. 

Our Women's Ministry would like to send them a care package. Thank you!
